An ode to ‘The City Beautiful’, the capital of Punjab. This popular city was designed by the famous Swiss-French modernist architect, Le Corbusier. 

"As a child, I have many fond memories of my first visit to Punjab. It was during the summer of 1998, and I can still vividly recall the beautiful blossoms floating in the air as we walked through the markets. These gorgeous flowers from the famous gardens seemed to perfectly harmonize with the rich, heady scent of Indian silk from the local ateliers. As I breathed in this intoxicating aroma, I could almost feel myself drifting away on a cloud of incense that permeated every corner of the bustling streets. And above it all, the delicious spices and sweetness of the warm chai wafting from the busy street corners were simply amazing.
